Today's clue for the Winter Festival Medallion Hunt
The President's Day Weekend Winter Festival Annual Medallion Treasure Hunt, sponsored by The Maple Inn at Chautauqua Institution, is under way.
The 3x5-inch Treasure Hunt Medallion (created especially for the 2006 Festival by artist David Stutzman from a naturally shed elk antler), has been hidden somewhere in Chautauqua County on public property.
Placed in plastic for its protection from the elements, the Medallion bearing the I.C.E. logo is not hidden below ground level and no higher than 6 feet above ground level. It is not hidden on any body of water or in the water.
Treasure hunters seek at their own risk.
Today's clue is as follows:
The medallion is what this hunt is about
But you must register or else you will pout
For only two dollars you can join in the fun
Think how happy you'll be to shout 'I've won!'
