BROCTON - The Brocton Lady Bulldogs (3-8, 4-10) used a solid effort in the rebound department to take care of North Collins, 42-15, Friday in CCAA Division 4 girls high school basketball.
Brocton had 28 offensive rebounds and 43 total rebounds.
"That was the key to the first half," Brocton coach Ken Purcell said. "We really had second- and third-chance opportunities."
Morgan Bennett and Brooke Kuschel led the rebounding attack with eight each while Jess Merle and Tory Harper each had seven.
The Lady Bulldogs also got a well-balanced scoring attack as eight different players scored. Jess Putcher led the way with nine points while Kenya Stanton, Kuschel and Merle each had six.
