Anderson-Lee Library to host Big Read event Feb. 25

February 16, 2013
The OBSERVER

SILVER CREEK - The Anderson-Lee Library will host a discussion of the Big Read selection, "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London, on Monday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the library, or the book can be downloaded at www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/215. London's novel of humans and animals struggling for survival in a hostile wilderness is an unforgettable adventure. Community members are invited to pick up a copy and join together for a discussion of the book, the life of Jack London, the history surrounding the work, and its social and political context. The discussion will be facilitated by SUNY Fredonia students. For library information, visit www.andersonleelibrary.com, or call 934-3468.
