Edmund J. Kujawa Jr. of East Main Road, Fredonia, N.Y. died Friday evening (Feb 15, 2013) at UPMC-Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa.
He was 65 years of age, born in Dunkirk on Sept. 3, 1947, the son of the late Edmund J. Kujawa, Sr. and Annette (Spekczynski) Ku-jawa. He was a resident of Las Vegas, Nev. for many years where he was em-ployed as a truck driver for the Teamsters Local #631. He was active in Drum and Bugle corps since the age of 15 and was the drum in-structor for the Dunkirk Patriots Alumni Drum Corps. He was a member of the Barker Hose Company No. 1 of the Fredonia Fire Department, the Volunteer Fire Police and the Chau-tauqua County Haz Mat team. He formerly served as the Fire Chief for the West Town of Dunkirk Fire Department.
He is survived by his son, Edmund J. Kujawa III of Fredonia, three grandchil-dren: Priscilla Cherrie, Dakota and Joanna Ku-jawa; his brother, Jack Ku-jawa of Fredonia; and his sister, Jacqueline Kujawa of Riverside, Calif.
