Steven M. Chandler, 35, of Alabama, formerly of Fredonia, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 16, 2013 in Bremem, AL.
He was born Aug. 30, 1977 in Dunkirk, NY, the son of the late Arthur Chandler and Kathy (Wat-kins) Chandler, who survives and resides in Perrys-burg, NY.
Mr. Chandler was employed with Centurion Hatchery in Alabama.

Besides his mother, he is survived by sisters Angel (Jerry) Siegle of Forestville, NY and Penny (Dale) McKinnon of Alabama; a brother, Art (Diane) Chandler of Cattaraugus, NY; sisters Christina (Kenny) DeLong of Dunkirk, NY and Yvonne (Skip) Stein of Brocton, NY; nephews Jake and Josh Siegle; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Watkins.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main Street in Gowanda, NY, on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be in Parklawn Cemetery in Wesley, NY. Memorials may be made to UNYTS.
