Man drives 105 mph, charged with DWI

RANDOLPH - A Jamestown man is facing driving while intoxicated charges after he was clocked by troopers driving at a speed of 105 mph on Interstate 86.

New York State Police in Jamestown report Lawrence J. Walsh, 20, of 223 Pine Ridge Road, was pulled over after troopers witnessed him driving at high speeds. Once pulled over, standardized field sobriety tests were administered to Walsh, which he failed. He was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated and was additionaly charged with possession of alcohol under the age of 21.

Walsh is to be in the town of Randolph court Feb. 28.
