JAMESTOWN - The County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency will host a Lunch and Learn Energy Workshop for small business and not-for-profit organizations on Feb. 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown.
The workshop will provide a free lunch catered by Elegant Edibles and an overview of the programs and incentives available to businesses and not-for-profit organizations to help them save money on their energy expenses.
The lunch event will feature opening remarks from Greg Edwards, Chautauqua County Executive.
"New York State Energy Research & Development Authority and the local utilities offer audits and incentives to local businesses to help them save energy and improve their bottom line. We look forward to seeing our local businesses and not-for-profit organizations at the workshop to learn about the resources available to them," Edwards said.
Expert presentations will be made on programs from NYSERDA, Jamestown BPU, National Fuel, National Grid and the Western NY Clean Cities Coalition.
Other businesses and organizations will be present to network, answer questions and assist customers in taking the first step to accessing the free small commercial and not-for-profit energy audit.
The meeting will also address NYSERDA incentives and low-interest loans available to make efficiency improvements, as well as other opportunities available from Jamestown BPU, National Fuel, and National Grid's Small Business Program.
All Chautauqua County small business owners and not-for-profit organizations are encouraged to attend the workshop. Pre-register for the workshop at www.RenewChautauquaCounty.org or call toll free at 1-866-495-2959.
