Gloria Yeager running for trustee in Forestville

Gloria Yeager received and accepted the nomination of the Republican Party Jan. 29 for Trustee for the March 19 village election.

Yeager has lived in Forestville for 45 years with her husband, Richard. The couple has a son, Brian, who is married to his wife Cherie. They have two children who attend Forestville Central School.

Yeager is retired from a career at Lake Shore Health Care Center as a nursing assistant. She belongs to several community organizations, including the Sheridan United Methodist Church and the committee for the Fall Festival. She served on the Bicentennial committee and is secretary of the Forestville Food Pantry. She is the president of the J. Carter Knapp American Legion Auxiliary 953 and secretary of the Hanover Republican Club. She is the poll site coordinator for Forestville elections, and was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Yeager has made this statement to the community, "I would like to represent the people of the Village of Forestville. I would work together as a community and with the Village Board."
