"Lincolnshire Posy" by Percy Grainger has been noted as critical in changing writing for winds as was "and the mountains rising nowhere" by Joseph Schwantner. The ensemble will conclude the evening with an extraordinary new work by Stanislaw Skrowaczewski's "Music for Winds," and "Down a Country Lane" by Copland. Free admission.
