Katherine "Beth" Bowker received and accepted the nomination of the Republican Party Jan. 29 for mayor for the March 19 village of Forestville election.
Bowker's primary goal is to continue working on and to complete the multi-million dollar water project. She feels the village is currently making good progress, and says that phase one is almost complete. Bids will be going out shortly for phase two. She says she will work closely with Eric Weiss, the engineer; EFC, the funding agency; and contractors to complete the project without delays or interruptions. Bowker feels that she has experience working on this project and continues to gain knowledge on the matter.
Bowker says, "I need your help by voting to accomplish this. Then we can all wash our cars and water our lawns and flowers."
