The Tri-City Chapter of the Association for Operations Management will conduct two CPIM certification review classes beginning March 20 at Whirley Drink Works in Warren, Pa. The classes are: "Execution and Control of Operations" and "Strategic Management of Resources." Each module will consist of six sessions and be held Wednesdays, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wayne Jackson of Country Manor Management Associates will be the instructor.
These modules are part of APICS' Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program. Classes are recommended for individuals planning to take the APICS exams, but may also be attended by those interested in furthering their knowledge of the subject matter.
Registration deadline is March 15. Tuition for Apics members is $650 and $700 for non-members. A participant workbook is included. A free one year Apics membership is included for those who register and who are not currently members of APICS.
