ASSE International is pleased to introduce Cynthia Flaherty as an area representative. ASSE (formerly American Scandinavian Student Exchange) is a nonprofit, public benefit organization. ASSE is officially designated as an Exchange Visitor Program by the U.S. Department of State.
Flaherty recently completed training and is certified by the U.S. Department of State. She will be seeking families that would like to host a foreign exchange student for a semester or full academic year. The students (from all over the world) are ages 15 to 18, have full medical coverage and their own spending money. Hosts who welcome students into their homes are asked to provide room, board and guidance for the student during his or her stay. This is a once in a lifetime chance to experience a foreign culture right at home.
Flaherty is also seeking students who would like to study abroad.
