WESTFIELD - Westfield Academy and Central School will present the musical "How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" on March 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westfield Academy and Central School Auditorium.
Music and lyrics are written by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert. Featured in the production will be around 70 high school students in this comic presentation of how window washer Pierrepont Finch rises to chairman of the board of the World Wide Wicket Corporation.
This musical originates in the early sixties and was recently revived on Broadway in 2011 featuring Daniel Radcliffe. Westfield senior Kenny Wood will star as Pierrepont Finch, Lucy Knappenberger as his love interest, Rosemary. Bill Nowell will star as J.R. Biggley, the president of the company; Chris Cockram as Bud, the boss's nephew; and Kristin Grohol as the stunning Hedy LaRue.

The production is choreographed by Emma Bishop and Chloe Forsell. Bishop, in addition to being a graduate of Westfield High School, has operated the Centerstage Dance Studio in Westfield for 25 years. Previous to that, she worked in New York City as a Rockette and as a dance teacher. She also has many years experience choreographing for high schools in New Jersey.
