The OBSERVER

Pictured is Sheila Lawrence, coordinator of the shawl project of the South Stockton Wayside Chapel's mission group, with the 18 shawls the group donated to the Circle of Love, 12 of which Lawrence completed herself. The mission group meets at the church, 5537 Route 380 in Sinclairville on the third Saturday of the month from March until November from 1-3 p.m. The next meeting is March 16, weather permitting. The church offers a Sunday school at 10 a.m., worship at 11 a.m. on Sunday, a Tuesday Men's Bible Study, and a Wednesday evening prayer meeting/Bible study at 7 p.m. This is a small, close-knit church and all are invited to attend and participate in its activities. Their motto is "You are always welcome at South Stockton Wayside Chapel." The pastor is Philip Shay.
