CASSADAGA - John R. Fredrickson, Jr., 56, of Cassadaga, died Saturday (Mar. 9, 2013) at home.
Born Aug. 27, 1956 in Dunkirk, he was the son of the late John and Katherine Blodgett Fredrickson.
At one time he was employed at the former Cassa-daga wood products and had also tended bar at several bars in the Cassada-ga area.
John enjoyed fishing, watching football and playing cards.
Brother of Cynthia (late Joseph) Casey of Fredonia; stepbrother of Patricia Payton of Calif. and the late Nancy Barkstrom; uncle of Taunya (Craig) Metzler of Rochester and Joseph Casey of Fredonia; great-uncle of Camden and Leiland Metzler.
Services are private. Burial in Cassadaga Cemetery. Arrangements by Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
