CASSADAGA - Twenty-million miles to Earth they've traveled... and not just to say "hello!" Cassadaga Valley High School will be showcasing a new musical and a tribute to the past this Friday through Sunday with "The Brain from Planet X."
A hilarious musical send-up of cheesy '50s sci-fi movies, "The Brain From Planet X" tells the story of an alien invasion in the year 1958. When an ill-intentioned band of interplanetary travelers arrives on Earth with a plot to take over the world, an average nuclear family is forced to defend the human race from will-bending extinction. Audiences are promised to quake with fear ... shake with fright ... and hurt their sides laughing thanks to this unique cast of colorful characters.
"The Brain from Planet X" is playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Cassadaga Valley High School. Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for adults. Call 962-8581 for reserve seating.
