Today is St. Joseph’s Day but 500 people came to Holy Trinity to celebrate on Sunday. The elaborate St. Joseph’s Table shows the food that will be eaten. Left of the table are parishioners George Civiletto and Lorraine Cole, who worked on the event. Right is the Rev. Joseph Zalacca. Fr. Joe explained that he and his mother, Elaine Zalacca, made 600 loaves of bread so that each person could take one home. The breads are made in decorative shapes representing symbols of the event. The table linens were made by Zalacca’s family and brought from Sicily about 100 years ago.
