Brocton man facing burglary, petit larceny charges

According to Fredonia Police Wednesday night, Harold E. Voss III, 57, was charged with second-degree burglary and petit larceny earlier that day following the conclusion of their investigation.

It is alleged Voss entered a locked apartment located on East Main Street in the village of Fredonia earlier this month.

After gaining entry, Voss allegedly stole money and personal property of the owner prior to leaving the residence. The home owner was not home at the time of the burglary, but did return a short time later and contacted the police.

Voss turned himself in to police Wednesday morning and was later released.

Silver Creek man arraigned on NY SAFE ACT charge

Benjamin Wassell, 32, is facing three felonies and a misdemeanor charge after he allegedly tried to sell two banned assault weapons to undercover state trooper. His arraignment is expected to continue on April 17.

Cheektowaga man charged with DWI

State police pulled him over on Route 60 for a reported traffic violation. After reportedly failing several sobriety tests, he was transported to state police barracks in Jamestown. The breath sample Goslin provided was reported to be .09 percent.

Goslin was processed, issued tickets returnable to the Town of Charlotte Court and released to a sober individual.
