JAMESTOWN - Jamestown Police received a report Friday at 2:38 p.m. of a man being threatened with a hand gun.
Officers responded to a residence on the 200 block of Newland Avenue. The subject left the residence in a silver car prior to officers' arrival.
The vehicle was spotted on Harrison Street and when patrol attempted to stop the vehicle it drove behind Big Lots to avoid detection. Patrol saw the car go behind the store and observed one subject exit the vehicle and flee on foot.
The fleeing subject was quickly apprehended by police near Arterial and Main streets and identified as Bruce J. Miles, 24, of Rochester. He was charged with obstruction of governmental administration.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Shamelle D. Warren, 21, of Rochester. He was charged with obstruction of governmental administration and aggravated unlicensed operation.
Another passenger in the vehicle, Demarco Lathan, 24, of Jamestown, allegedly attempted to hide the gun when police attempted to pull over the vehicle. He was charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and felony fourth-degree possession of stolen property after a hand gun was found in his possession.
All subjects were arraigned and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.
