SILVER CREEK - Robert R. Hoffmire, 41, of East Middle Road, Silver Creek died Thursday morning (April 4, 2013) at ECMC Hospital in Buffalo, NY after a brief illness.
He was born on Sept. 4, 1971 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Robert and Geraldine (Maybee) Hoffmire.
Mr. Hoffmire worked as a truck driver for Olson Paving in Forestville, NY, until he became disabled.
Robert was a social member of the Lake Shore Marine Corps and a former member of the Silver Creek Moose Club. He was an avid pool player, passionate about the Buffalo Sabres, known for his quirky sense of humor, but most of all loved and adored his daughter, Faith.
He is survived by his fiancee, Lori A. Holloway of Silver Creek; a daughter, Faith Hoffmire of Smyrna, TN; three brothers, Arthur Snow of Salamanca, NY, Nicholas Snow of Irving, NY, and David Snow of Niagara Falls, NY; three sisters, Laurie Hill of Irving, Patty Snow of Irving and Maria Maybee of Hamburg, NY; a stepsister, Laura Betts of Fredonia. Also surviving are Lori's two sons, Christopher and Justin Holloway, whom he helped to raise; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9, from where funeral services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roland Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Nation Cemetery.
