WEST VALLEY - Down 8-0 heading into the top of the fourth inning, North Collins (2-2, 2-0) rallied to score eight runs en route to a 21-16 come-from-behind win over CCAA Division 4 foe West Valley (1-1) on Wednesday.
Kyle Loretto had a two-run single in the fourth while Chris Pulinski and Jordan Keough each added an RBI single for the Eagles, which scored two runs in the fifth and 11 in the sixth to take command of the game.
Austin Winter led the way for North Collins with two hits and five RBIs while David Fera added a pair of hits, including a three-run triple in the sixth. Fera finished with four RBIs on the day.
Brandon Zielinski picked up the win on the mound for North Collins as he allowed six runs on nine hits over four innings of relief work.
Ripley 8, Sherman 8, 11 innings
RIPLEY - Ripley and Sherman played to an 8-all tie through 11 innings on Wednesday during CCAA Division 4 baseball action.
The Eagles held a 4-1 lead into the sixth, before the Wildcats scored three runs to tie the game. The game then went to extra innings, with both teams scoring four runs in the ninth inning.
"It was so spread out," Ripley head coach Ken Rowe said. "Every kid did something great, but every kid made a mistake.
"Each inning runs were scored, the other team also scored runs," Rowe continued. "It was just one of those games."
William Lisek, Cody Sergeant and Bryce Rowe all had RBIs for Ripley.
The teams will attempt to finish the game today, or at a later date.
