The innkeepers, Jeff and Melanie Gambino, are happy to announce that they are assuming the operations of the restaurant, lounge and banquet facilities at The White Inn. In the past, they have leased these facilities to another entity (Squire White's), instead of operating them themselves. The decision to take over these facilities was made to improve the quality of service and satisfaction of the guests at the Inn. The restaurant will now be under the name of "Squire's Table." The innkeepers wish the prior tenants the best of luck as they go forward with their future ventures.
The Gambinos are excited to announce the hiring of their new chef, Jeffrey Bennett. Bennett was formerly employed by the Athenaeum Hotel at the Chautauqua Institution. Bennett brings many years of culinary experience to the Inn, and the Gambinos are confident the public will enjoy his dishes as much as the innkeepers have enjoyed sampling them! The clientele can be assured that a variety of the Inn's signature dishes will still be available, along with the continuation of Sushi Night on Thursdays and Fridays. The restaurant will now feature fresh steaks, seafood, house-made desserts, local wines and a children's menu. Squire's Table will serve breakfast daily, beginning Wednesday, May 1. A weekly Sunday brunch will begin Mother's Day, May 11. The restaurant will re-open to the public as Squire's Table on Thursday, April 25 after being closed for a few days to ensure a successful transition.
The Gambinos and the rest of their staff at The White Inn look forward to the public's continued patronage and are confident that diners and guests will be pleased with the exciting changes they have planned as they continue to restore The White Inn to its former glory.
