Investigators with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department are calling the blaze that destroyed Hills Trucking in Fredonia accidental.
Monday afternoon a semi-tractor was parked inside a garage at Hills Trucking, which is located on Webster Road near Route 60. About 30 minutes after being parked, employees were alerted to noises coming from the garage and noticed the large semi-tractor burning. Emergency officials were contacted but before fire personnel arrived, the wind caused the fire to progress.
Eventually a number of tires and gallons of fuel caught fire, which led to the destruction of the entire building.

Investigators believe that there was an electrical problem within the truck or the vehicle's battery, which started the blaze.
