MAYVILLE - The four men charged in connection with the deaths of Frewsburg residents Gordon and Joyce Skinner were arraigned in Chautauqua County Court on Friday morning after being indicted by a grand jury earlier this week.
Davide Coggins, and Joshua A. McCormick were each charged with first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree intentional murder, two counts of second-degree murder, first-degree arson, two counts of first-degree burglary, second-degree arson, second-degree burglary and fourth-degree conspiracy. Coggins is represented by Ned Barone, Chautauqua County public defender, while Craig Jackson, a private attorney assigned by the court, is representing McCormick.
Ricky L. Knickerbocker and Steven W. Todd were indicted on 10 counts, the most serious of which were the two counts of second-degree intentional murder. Knickerbocker is represented by Avery Olson and Todd is represented by Lyle Hajdu, both private attorneys assigned by the court.
The Hon. John T. Ward, Chautauqua County Court judge, set Coggins' bail at $2.5 million cash or $5 million real property. McCormick's bail was set at $2 million cash or $4 million real property while Knickerbocker's and Todd's were set at $1.5 million cash or $3 million real property.
