Sorority celebrates sisters’ accomplishments

May 2, 2013
The OBSERVER

Members and guests of the Brocton Perceptor Beta Epsilon Sorority recently met at Fireside Manor in Dunkirk to celebrate Beta Sigma Phi Founder's Day. Prior to the dinner, rituals were held for two members, Margie Boltz and Lois Smith, who have attained the Master Degree, which is Beta Sigma Phi's sixth and highest degree. During the evening the "Ritual of Jewels" degree was conferred to Regina Hesslink, who has completed her pledge training and is now a regular member of the chapter. The women were congratulated by all in attendance and presented with special pins, a yellow rose and cards. The tables were adorned with small pots of begonias for each member and dessert was a special cake made for this momentous occasion.
