FORESTVILLE - Eight Forestville males, ages ranging from 14-21, have been arrested following an investigation into stolen property from Forestville High School.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department, deputies completed a lengthy investigation into recent illegal entries into the high school. Four teenagers, ages 18, 16, 14 and 14, were charged with third-degree burglary, fifth-degree conspiracy and petit larceny. Their arrests took place after an entry into the school in early April. The 18 year old was also charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Three other teenagers, ages 18, 17, and 17, and 21 year old Tyler N. Tyler were charged with third-degree criminal trespass and petit larceny after deputies allegedly recovered stolen property from the school.
Only Tyler's name was released by police.
The two 14 year olds were petitioned to Family Court. The 18 year old who was also charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and the 16 year old were arraigned in Hanover Town Court. The other 18 year old, the two 17 year olds and Tyler will appear in town court at a later date.
