The OBSERVER

On Thursday afternoon, Julie Deuel, 39, of East Aurora was charged with failure to obey a stop sign after a one-vehicle roll-over accident on Straight Road near Miller Road. According to state police at Fredonia, Deuel was traveling north on Miller Road. She reportedly failed to stop at the intersection with Straight Road. She made a left turn onto Straight Road and was unable to hold the road. She went into a large ditch and rolled over. She had two young passengers with her at the time. A private vehicle took Deuel and her two children to Brooks Memorial Hospital. She is to appear in the Arkwright Town Court at a later date. The Sheridan Fire Department assisted at the scene.
