Richard N. "Jingles" Michalak, 70, of Dunkirk, died Sunday morning, August 4, 2013, at St. Vincent's Health Center in Erie, PA, following a brief
illness. He was born Dec. 2, 1942, in Dunkirk, son of the late Peter and Stella (Matecki) Michalak. A past employee of the former Kraft Plant in Dunkirk, in the past he also had worked at the former Cliffstar and St. Mary's Cemetery. His memberships include the First Ward Falcon Club. Surviving are his son,
Christopher (Suzanne) Michalak of Dunkirk; step daughter Colleen (Pat) Brown of Eden; grandchildren Hayley and Hannah Michalak, Ashleigh Brown;

a sister, Barbara Spekczynski of Dunkirk; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a
sister, Alice Ficher; and a brother, Ronald Michalak. No prior visitation will be observed. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday
morning at 10 o'clock in Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the
