Chautauqua County Executive candidate Vince Horrigan has announced that his campaign headquarters will be located at 417 Central Ave. in Dunkirk. The opening celebration will be conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 3 to 4 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
"I have chosen the city of Dunkirk for my campaign headquarters and the city of Jamestown will host the Republican headquarters for this election season," Horrigan explained.
"I am honored to be joined by Congressman Tom Reed, NYS Senator Cathy Young and Assemblyman Andy Goodell. All three leaders will be important partners in my plan to reform our welfare system and grow our economy in order to create new jobs here in Chautauqua County," Horrigan added.
During the opening ceremonies, Horrigan will be introducing his business plan for Growing Chautauqua County. Horrigan has previously announced a three-point plan, which includes lean government, increased opportunity, and a growing business initiative.
"I will lay out the plan in more detail and then offer the opportunity for Congressman Reed and Assemblyman Goodell to offer their perspective on the key issues affecting Chautauqua County voters,'' said Horrigan.
