WESTFIELD - The YWCA Westfield is pleased to announce Tae-Kwon-Do classes will continue through the fall semester. The classes, taught by Albert Ramirez, are offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Classes for students from ages 7-16 begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by adult classes (16 and up) at 6:30 p.m.
Ramirez brings more than 30 years experience in the self-defense field to the classes. In addition to his expertise in martial arts, he has worked in private security areas and has taught self-defense courses.
Beginning students are invited to enroll and experience their first month free, with no cost or obligation. Continuing months are available at a $40 per student fee with family rates, referral bonuses and other discounts available on an individual basis.
Those attending the class are asked to use the parking lot door of the YWCA Westfield. Staff is on hand each Tuesday to answer questions, assist with paperwork and record attendance.
