SUNY Fredonia's Office of Volunteer and Commun-ity Services, in coordination with its Volunteer Services Advisory Committee, will sponsor its tenth annual Community Service Fair in the Williams Center Multi-purpose Room on Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Students will have an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available to them in the area, as well as meet with a variety of local service agencies to discuss, learn about and sign up for volunteer opportunities at the prospective sites.
Some of the agencies that will be participating are: the American Red Cross, the Chautauqua County Home, Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County, Camp Gross, Centaur Stride, Chautauqua Striders, Chautauqua Area Habitat for Humanity and Chautauqua County Rural Ministry (Friendly Kitchen/Garment Gallery).

Also present will be: Compeer Chautauqua, Fredonia Place, WCA Home, Greystone Nature Preserve, Chautauqua County Humane Society/Second Chances Thrift Store, Circle of Love, Boys and Girls Club of Northern Chautauqua County and Saint Columban's on the Lake Retirement Home.
Additional organizations include: Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York, Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation, the RO Foundation, The Salvation Army, United Way of Northern Chautauqua County, Chautauqua Blind Association, Campus and Community Children's Center, Upward Bound and others.
