HAMBURG - Since 1993, Immaculata Academy has honored those who serve their community. This year, we will be celebrating the 21st annual Mater Christi Award Gala on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Michael's Banquet Facility in Hamburg. Jim and Diana Iglewski of Hamburg and Larry Kavanaugh of West Seneca will be co-chairing the event as we honor Deacon Mark and Linda Hooper, Rev. Joseph L. Levesque, C.M. and Elisa M. Rodriguez, Ph.D, M.S. 'IA for exemplifying the mission of Immaculata Academy: to be instruments of positive change in society.
Diana is a radiologic technologist and is presently the radiology office manager at Southtowns Radiology in Hamburg. She, along with her husband, lead the Baptismal Preparation classes for Blessed John Paul II Parish and serve on the Bishops Council of the Laity.
Jim is a managing director and regional investment executive at U.S. Trust, the largest and oldest private bank in the U.S. and works out of the firm's New York City office. He serves on the Hilbert College Board of Trustees and has served on the Catholic School Advisory Council for the Buffalo Diocese, The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Board of Trustees, and the Blessed John Paul Parish Leadership Team.

Diana and Jim are the proud parents of four children: Erin, IA '08; Alyssa, IA '11; Kathrine, a senior at IA; and Nicholas, a fourth grader at Southtowns Catholic School.
Larry Kavanaugh is vice president of Northeast Benefit Services, Inc. a third party retirement plan administrator with offices in Buffalo and Rochester. He is managing director of Northeast Retirement Plan Advisors which provides investment advice to retirement plans. He also has coached the golf team at Immaculata for eight years and is the proud father of two successful IA alumnae, Emily '09 and Madeline '12.
