Congressman Tom Reed's office opened its 5,000th constituent case, marking a milestone in constituent service. From his first day in Congress, Congressman Reed has focused on accessibility to assistance for residents throughout the district.
"This isn't the type of 'breaking news' that makes headlines but it is the most important work we do," Reed said. "There's a lot of federal bureaucratic red tape out there that prohibits constituents from getting the help and answers they need. Our team is well-versed and ready to help cut through that tape. In addition to our constituent services in the district, we are taking taxpayers' input from town halls, email and phone calls to Washington to work on ways to eliminate red tape for good. Being available and a resource for constituents is really what representation is all about."
