One injured in Route 60 accident

State Police at Fredonia responded to an accident on Route 60 around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday which left one person injured. Shirley Baumgart, 82, of West Seneca, was attempting to make a turn from Wilson Road onto Route 60 north when she collided with a tractor trailer driven by Gary Camidge, 29, of Niagara Falls. Baumgart suffered a back injury and minor lacerations to her leg and neck. She was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital and later issued a traffic ticket for failure to yield the right of way. Camidge was not injured. Fredonia Fire Rescue also responded to the scene.
