Fellowship Church honors Jones
On Sunday, Sept. 22, the message for the morning service will be "Giving up is not an option."
This message was seen over and over again on social media regarding the recent tragedy regarding Damon Jones, the Brocton High School football player who succumbed to his injuries incurred during the football game against Portville.
The communities were left with a legacy - a gift from this young man that can be applied to many areas of one's life. Hopefully this truism will live on as a tribute to Damon, that giving up is not an option.
The worship service is at 11 a.m. at Fellowship Church at 148 W. Main St. in Brocton, next to Brocton Central School. Everyone is welcome to attend.
