JAMESTOWN - The Jamestown Community College board of trustees elected new officers at its most recent meeting, reflecting a balance in regional leadership from Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.
Elected were Wally J. Huckno Sr. of Jamestown, chair; Dale Robbins of Jamestown, vice chair; Barbara J. Hastings of Allegany, secretary; and Mark J. Ward of Olean, treasurer.

Hastings, retired public health director for the Cattaraugus County Health Department, was appointed to the board in 2008. Ward, superintendent of schools for the Olean city school district, was appointed to the board in 2004.
