The Gowanda Lady Panthers (9-3) looked impressive Friday in their 5-0 victory over the Dunkirk Lady Marauders (0-13) in a non-league girls tennis matchup.
In first singles, Jessica Sowa defeated Crystal Muller 6-1, 6-1. Gowanda's Brittnee Stelley defeated Ally Clement 6-2, 6-1 in second singles. In the third singles matchup it was Kelsey Herniman who came away with the victory over CC Chase 6-1, 6-0.
First doubles proved to be the best match of the day as Gowanda's Alayna Swartz and Johnny Accordino won a hard-fought match over Hannah Smith-Wilson and Shauna Barbarich 7-5, 6-4. Elyssa Poff and Brianna Chupa defeated Sydney Wiant and Angelica Rivera 6-4, 6-2 in second doubles.
Dunkirk will play its final match of the season Monday at home against Salamanca.
