Corrine L. Flory, age 89, of Jamestown, NY, formerly of Dunkirk, NY died Sunday October 6, 2013 at the W.C.A. Hospital in Jamestown.
Corrine, one of nine children, was born August 6, 1924 in Dunkirk, NY to the late William and Elsie Washington Flory. She attended Dunkirk Schools and worked as a clerk for Loblaws in Dunkirk. Corrine was a longtime resident of the Tanglewood Manor in Jamestown.
She is survived by her brother, Harold Flory of Dunkirk, NY and two sisters, Aleatha (late Richard) DeRider of Dunkirk, NY and Elaine Niles of Malvern, PA. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Besides her parents, Corrine was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Flory and Wilma Benjamin; twin infant brothers Willard and William Flory; and a brother, William Flory, Jr.
Friends may call today from 1-2 p.m. at the Larson-Timko Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with Rev. Judith E. Cole officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Dunkirk, 17 E.
