Lucille M. Coniglio, 84, of Fredonia died Monday morning (Oct. 14, 2013) at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, Pa., following a brief illness.
She was born March 4, 1929 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Andrew and Frances (Sobczak) Grzegorzewski.
A homemaker, Mrs. Coniglio had been a lifelong Fredonia resident. She was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Leonard J. Coniglio; one son, Leonard S. (Roberta) Coniglio of Fredonia; three daughters, Linda Coniglio and Bonnie (Joseph) Blechl, both of Dunkirk, and Diane (Tim Card) Franklin of Ashville, NY; two sisters, Irene (Dan) Conny of Silver Creek and Elizabeth (Ron) Kerr of Dunkirk; four grandchildren, Jamie Coniglio, Kelly Coniglio, Danielle (Kevin) Sculley and Ashley Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather who raised her, Stephen Odebralski; four brothers, Andrew Lawrence, Edward Grzegorzewski, Francis Odebralski and John Odebralski; and two sisters, Dorothy Highley and Audrey Sheldon.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fredonia Fire Department.
