A local teenager was ticketed following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon.
According to Dunkirk Police, Jessica Berry, 16, of Portland, was traveling in the city of Dunkirk around 2:45 p.m., when she apparently turned in front of a second vehicle at the intersection of East Second and Main streets, causing the two vehicles to collide.
Two people were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital as a precaution, including a pregnant woman.

Two people were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital as a precaution following an accident at the intersection of Main and East Second streets in the city of Dunkirk.
Berry was charged with failure to yield the right of way, operating a motor vehicle with a junior license with more than two passengers under 21 years of age, driving without insurance, improper plates and having an unregistered motor vehicle.
She will answer to the charges in Dunkirk City Court.
