PORTLAND - One person was injured and a Thruway lane was closed off for over 10 hours after a tractor trailer rolled over early Saturday morning.
The accident took place around 12:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 at milepost 478, which is near the Pecor Street overpass.

This tractor trailer rollover on the I-90 injured one and closed the Thruway for over 10 hours Saturday.
According to WDOE, the driver, who has not been identified, was taken by Starflight to Westfield Memorial Hospital, then to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa., with a back injury.
The Thruway division of the New York State Police told the OBSERVER the left westbound lane of the Thruway was closed off from 1:01 a.m. to 11:37 a.m. on Saturday as a result of the accident.
The Brocton, Portland and Westfield fire departments responded to the incident, along with Alstar Ambulance.
