Andrew Saye of Dunkirk High School (center) was selected as the winner of a Kindle Fire through his participation in College and Career Night at Jamestown Community College's Jamestown Campus. Saye's name was drawn from entries completed by students who engaged in dialogue with college and career representatives at the event. Sponsored by JCC and the Chautauqua County Counselors Association, the event provides students and their families with access to over 100 college and career professionals. The Kindle Fire was donated through the Axel W. Carlson Memorial Fund of the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. College and Career Night also provides students with details on scholarship opportunities available through the foundation. Lisa Lynde (left), CRCF program officer, and Ron Turak (right), College & Career Night coordinator, presented the device to Saye.
