Richard P. Dolce, 55, of Tumwater, Washington, passed away suddenly at his home on December 12, 2013.
He was born on September 28, 1958, in Dunkirk, NY, the son of Richard and Lucille Dolce of Brocton. Richard graduated from Brocton High School in 1978 and attended DeVry, Institute of Technology in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to his loving parents, Richard is survived by his wife, Mary. They had been married for 26 years and have nine children: Priscilla, the oldest is 24. She and her husband, Edward Baldwin are expecting their first child. The younger children are Penny, 22; Sasha, 20; Salvatore, 17; Cyrus, 15; Riley, 12; Bruno, 10; Violet, 7; and Ezra, aged 2. He is also survived by his brother, James (Michele) Dolce of Brocton and his sister Paula Dolce of Vero Beach, Florida. Richard has three nephews: Aaron Trask, Connor and Peter Dolce and two nieces, Ericka and Monica Trask.
Richard enjoyed spending time with their children. He also liked cooking, playing chess and golf. All those who knew him will never forget his wonderful sense of humor. Richard shared his faith in God with everyone he knew, living out his beliefs day by day. Along with his wife, he worked as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). He deeply impacted the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
