Wreath sale helps Friendly Kitchen

December 20, 2013
The OBSERVER

Dunkirk High School art students created 32 wreaths for a holiday sale at the school. Each student designed their own wreath using real pine and embellishments they hand made. The wreaths were sold during a silent auction. All wreaths sold and the money raised was split between a donation for the Friendly Kitchen and Art Club. All efforts were greatly appreciated from DHS Buildings and Groundsmen, students, and teachers. A huge thank you goes out to professional wreath makers Lynnie and Jay Collard, who donated the wire frames and greens for the project.
