Fire protection and emergency services for the town of Pomfret outside of Fredonia's village limits will now officially continue after midnight tonight.
The Pomfret Town Board passed the Fredonia Village Board's two-year fire protection district contract extension after a public hearing this afternoon. The current contract was set to expire tonight.
