Fredonia Boy Scout Troop 267, sponsored by American Legion Post 59, recently held a Court of Honor combined with a pot luck dinner. The Court of Honor began with the advancement of colors and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Senior Patrol Corey Dawley.
Scoutmaster Chris Eichmann presented the Life Scout rank advancement badge to Tim Cerrie and Jamison Ryan, Star Scout to John Banach, Michael Block, Scott MacKinnon, Elijah Robb, Joshua Tuggy; First Class Scout to Jordan Cooley, Bob Johnston; and Second Class Scout to Chris Annear, Zachary Dawley, Corey Haertel and Colton Kuzdzal.
Merit badges were earned by Annear, Banach, Glen Bennett, Block, Cooley, Andrew Field, Casey Huber, Charles Medema, Brandon Powell, Robb and Tuggy. Two-year service stars were presented to Haertel and Huber, a three-year star to MacKinnon and five-year stars to Jack Fiorella and Ty Miller. Service stars were also earned by Adult Leaders Larry Fiorella for three years, Vicky Cunningham for sixyears, Peter Brown for eight years, Walter Sedlmayer for 11 years, Paul Wallenhorst for 19 years and Chris Eichmann for 31 years.

Corey Dawley, Adam Essek and Casey Huber were recognized for completing the requirements for the Order of the Arrow.
A Charter Organization Representative presented a plaque to Andrew Field for being selected as the Chautauqua County Boy Scout of the Year.
A plaque was presented by Troop 267 to Auxiliary Unit 59 President Wendy Privatera in appreciation for the Unit's donation of $2,300 to the Troop's new trailer fund. The Auxiliary Unit raised the funds by hosting a chicken and rib barbecue. A plaque was presented to representatives from the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation for their support and $2,000 grant for the trailer fund. Terry Dietzen was also presented a plaque for his support for the transportation needs of the Troop's various outings.
Troop 267 meets Mondays at 7 p.m. at Memorial Post 59, 156 E. Main St. in Fredonia and is open to all boys who are at least 11 years of age or have completed the 5th Grade.
