Rosemary R. (Borzilleri) Mancuso, 91, of Dunkirk died Sunday morning (Jan. 12, 2014) at the Chautauqua County Home in Dun-kirk.
She was born Dec. 17, 1922 in Fredonia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Felicia (Trippe) Borzilleri. A lifelong Dunkirk- Fredonia resident, Mrs. Mancuso had been employed as a nurse's aide in Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk.
A former historian and member of Holy Trinity Church and its Women's Guild, she also had belonged to the former Frank Acquavia Memorial Post 1344 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former member of the St. Lucia Society of Fredonia.
Mrs. Mancuso was a Girl Scout leader for many years and a lifelong member of the organization.
Survivors include one son, Charles (Candis) Mancuso of Largo, Fla.; three daughters, Charlaine Cybulski of Vero Beach, Fla., Mary (Ronald) Epolito of Dunkirk and Anne (Gary) LaPaglia of Fredonia; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Cybulski, Karyn (Joe) Scech, Nicholas (Courtney) Epolito, Michael (Tara) Epolito, Charleigh (John) Estilette and Rachel LaPaglia and Jonathan LaPaglia; four great grandchildren, Alex Scech, Ryleigh Estilette, Marcus Epolito and Luca Epolito.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Mancuso, whom she mar-ried Jan. 25, 1947 in St. Anthony's Church and who died Oct. 25, 1999; one sister, Florence Borzilleri; and one brother, George Borzilleri.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in Holy Trinity Church. Calling hours will be held to-day from 4-8 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
