TITLE TIME. When it comes to picking the winner of NFL conference championship games, I invariably decide on which team has the better quarterback.
This Sunday, the choice is difficult in the AFC with New England's Tom Brady facing off against Denver's Peyton Manning. The pick here is Denver by a field goal, 34-31.
The NFC title game pits San Francisco's Colin Kaepernick against Seattle's Russell Wilson. Although Wilson's regular season stats were slightly superior, the choice is Kaepernick and the 49ers, again by a field goal, 27-24.
HOME teams are capitalized. Teams chosen to win the game are listed first, with the predicted margin of victory next. The official Las Vegas odds are in parentheses:
DENVER +3 over New England (+5.5)
San Francisco +3 over SEATTLE (-3.5)
