BEMUS?POINT?- Cory Wefing was able to bring the Maple Grove Red Dragons' record back to an even 5-5 in CCAA?West I boys high school basketball, putting up 35 points in a 65-47 victory over Dunkirk (4-13) on Tuesday night.
"He was just really getting to the hole tonight, he made a lot of short jumpers and was finishing well," Red Dragons coach Curt Fischer said.

Wefing was also able to pick up seven boards, five steals and seven assists in the win while Graham Soffel chipped in 17 points for Maple Grove.
Soffel completed his double-double with 10 boards and also picked up five steals.
Michael Bess did all he could do as he led the Marauders with 25 points. He also connected on four, 3-pointers, while Esmond Colvin chipped in with 12 points.
Silver Creek 56, Falconer-Frews 55
FALCONER - Falconer-Frewsburg trailed by as many as 16 points in the second half, but battled back against Silver Creek to pull within one point. However, a last-second shot for the Bears fell shot and the Black Knights escaped with a 56-55 win.
The Golden Bears led by a 17-11 margin after the first period, but couldn't make a basket in the second quarter while Silver Creek went on an 18-2 run to take 28-19 lead at halftime.
Billy Brooks led the Knights' with nine points in the frame and the only points by the Bears were a pair of free throws.
Brooks finished with 21 points and Andrew John contributed 14.
