February 14, 2014
The OBSERVER

The Dunkirk Teachers' Association held its annual Valentine's Day community service project Thursday by distributing as many as 183 dozen homemade and store-bought cookies to seniors throughout the community. Pictured are teachers and student volunteers from the National Honor Society and JROTC who worked putting together plates of cookies. The cookies were then distributed to the Steger Apartments, Lincoln Arms, Bell Towers and the Chautauqua County Home. The Dunkirk Teachers Association continues its community service efforts throughout the year by making favors and holiday cards which are distributed to area residents through Meals on Wheels.
